On September 2, LONGi and Prologis China inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU will see the two companies integrate global resources, and work together on warehouse leasing, carbon emission trading, hydrogen, and the joint development and application of distributed photovoltaic (PV) systems. This is how we intend to drive green growth.
Li Wenxue, Vice President of the LONGi Group, and Thomas Liu, president of Prologis, Greater China Region, attended the signing ceremony. Tang Xuhui, Chairman of LONGi New Energy, and Laurence Liao, Vice President Strategic Initiatives of Prologis China signed the accord.
Based on the principles of “equality, friendship, mutual trust, and mutual benefit”, LONGi will draw on its R&D capabilities and product advantages in distributed PV to deploy distributed solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at Prologis’s warehouses. The two companies will also explore cooperation possibilities in emissions trading, as well as the production, storage and transportation of green hydrogen.
Before the signing ceremony, Mr. Thomas Liu paid a special visit to LONGi where he toured the company’s green energy exhibition hall and new energy BIPV factory to gain insights into the manufacturing processes and characteristics of the company's BIPV products. Some people in the management from LONGi New Energy and Prologis China were present at the signing ceremony.
