Safer Roads

Trucks deliver the goods that make daily life more manageable. Although trucks are an essential element of the global supply chain and local distribution, there is often resistance to the rising volume of truck traffic in neighborhoods. Negative sentiments are exacerbated when trucks are involved in accidents. In China, vehicular accidents are far too common. This requires people to have a certain level of road safety knowledge.

Impact Day

All Prologis employees around the globe volunteer a full day of time in their communities on the same Friday in May each year.

IMPACT Day 2023

May 12 marks Prologis’ 11th annual global day of service, IMPACT Day, when employees from Prologis China actively participated in volunteer activities centered around the theme of “Zero-waste Farming” in major cities across China, including Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Chengdu. In an enthusiastic demonstration of their commitment to green and sustainable ecology, a team of 110 dedicated Prologis volunteers took part in a number of urban farming activities. Their efforts contributed not only to the well-being of the community but also to conveying the care and warmth that Prologis China is known for.

IMPACT Day 2022

May 13 is Prologis’ tenth annual IMPACT Day (Prologis’ global day of volunteerism). Along with Horizon Corporate Volunteer Consultancy, Prologis China launched a campaign to provide mental health and psychosocial support in the form of audio recordings to those affected by the infectious disease. In doing this, Prologis hopes to pool together the resources of its business partners and people from all walks of life to help people cope with the psychological impact of the epidemic and to promote the mental well-being of the general population.

IMPACT DAY 2021

This is Prologis’ ninth annual IMPACT Day. Our four teams of Prologis China volunteers from offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and Chengdu created a dream world of fairy tales and imagination for special children. The companionship and care of Prologis volunteers gave the children an unforgettable experience.

IMPACT DAY 2020

On December 4, 2020, 110 volunteers from Prologis China walked into the city parks of Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chengdu to carry out the "We are in Action" charity run to pick up waste and to be the scavenger of the park as well as the protector of the earth.

Prologis' sixth annual global day of service, IMPACT Day.Prologis colleagues from across the globe stepped away from their desks to support 48 organizations with 66 projects focused on education, human welfare and the environment.
